Of all the beautiful things
Who we miss in winter,
What do you like best? – Me, the roses;
Me, the appearance of a beautiful green meadow;
I, the golden harvest,
Furrow hair;
I, the nightingale that sings;
And me, the beautiful butterflies!
Butterfly
The butterfly, stemless flower,
Who flutters,
That we gather into a network;
In infinite nature,
Harmony
Between the plant and the bird!…
Butterfly
When the superb summer returns,
I'm going to the woods alone:
I lie down in the tall grass,
Lost in this green shroud.
On my upside down head,
There, each of them in turn,
Passes like a thought
Poetry or love!
